I'm a newbie, please help! Buffering issues

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me, please. I've had the Neo X8-H Plus for a few months and it allows me to watch films but never any TV shows. It always says 'buffering' or 'cache full'. I have installed xunity maintenance to delete the cache and it occasionally works but more often than not it makes no difference. I'll be honest, I'm not that tech savy so trying to comprehend what to do from previous threads really wasn't working for me! Would really appreciate some help!
